Episode 9 โ ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
Podcast title: Nobody Builds Alone: An Attitude of Gratitude
I especially like this as the final episode because the actual final section of your book isn't really about business at all. You acknowledge your family, friends, clients, team, coaches and collaborators who supported the journey.ย
Episode description:
We talk a lot about self-made success.
But after more than two decades in business, there's something I know for certain:
Nobody builds alone.
The final pages of A Beauty.Full Mind were dedicated to gratitude โ to the people who supported me, challenged me, worked alongside me, loved me and sometimes believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself.
This episode isn't just about being grateful for the big wins.
It's about recognising the people, experiences, failures, opportunities and seemingly insignificant moments that helped build the person you've become.
Because sometimes we're so focused on becoming our next version that we forget to thank the version of ourselves โ and the people around us โ who got us here.

Attitude of gratitude. I'm so grateful for all the help and support I've received from my family, friends, my team, and my clients on the journey. It's been a tough road at times, but your love and loyalty has kept me going. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You've all been truly amazing. I would like to take this moment to acknowledge some personal people who have helped me more than you will ever realise along the way. First, I would like to thank my mum Julie and my stepdad, Gary, for their support and love.
I would also like to thank my friends and my family who have always been there for me and who have always inspired me. I'm so grateful for their continued support and loyalty. My amazing husband Marcus, who is my rock, who takes care of our beautiful two boys, William and Thomas. My life and business coach, Debs Connell, who taught me so much, and so grateful for her knowledge and wisdom. Shout out to all my amazing business collaborators, Julie Barrow, for keeping me fit and focused, Sean Mitchell for all our technical support, Jessica Crane, my business coach, my former employer Sarah, all the product suppliers, Trish for all your fabulous training.
A huge thank you to all our clients and to the ones we've not met yet. Your support and loyalty has given me and my team so much more than just a service. You've inspired us and given us the opportunity to build professional relationships and serve you to the highest level of customer care and personal development. Finally, I would like to say thank you to all my team, past, present, and future. You have helped me throughout my beauty business journey in creating three multi-award-winning salons, pure perfection, while supporting and educating others along the way.
Be grateful for what you have, even if it's not perfect. Often we find ourselves focused on what we don't have rather than being grateful for what we do. It's important to remember that even if our lives are not perfect, there are still many things to be grateful for. Maybe we have a roof over our heads and food on the table, or maybe we have great friends and family who support us. Whatever the case may be, taking the time to appreciate what we have can make a real big difference in our overall happiness.
So next time you find yourself feeling down about your life, take a moment to think about all the good things that you can be grateful for. It might just brighten up your day.
